This hotel has the best staff in India. They are incredibly friendly, efficient and always make you feel special. The hotel rooms are lovely and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The rooms are very clean and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were visiting Leh for the Ladakh Half Marathon ( our first time). We had initially booked for 2 nights, but ended up staying for 4. Located near Shanti Stupa. It has an excellent view of snow capped mountains. Warm hospitality makes you forget the cold outside. Very well stocked book racks keep you company while indoors.

To seek rest for the body and mind it became a dire need for me to take a break from metropolis of Delhi/NCR after getting dangerously tired, maddened by chaotic traffic and exhausted by life’s demands; to the point where we cannot even hear His voice speaking to us.

I am a traveller by passion and also due to my business need. I visit so many hotels and resorts...many of them often are 5 star properties...but this little gem in Leh...stands out in warmth and hospitality. The owner himself is an excellent personality.

I stayed at the Gomang resort in October 2022. I was accompanying my friend, a renowned photographer from France, and was looking forward to visiting the outskirts of the city of Leh. Coming back from an intense week of work in Paris, I really needed a place to stay where I could slowly unwind and start getting comfortable with the altitude difference in Leh.
